A billionaire sings karaoke in a dining room the size of a stadium, and a stranger from England is hired to help build the future, at a speed no one could sustain. What follows is a love affair with a country moving faster than any he has known. There are glass towers at midnight, faces that give nothing away, and a woman who carries a thousand years in her bones.
